python-mimeparse software package provides Parse mime-types and quality parameters - python 2.x, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-mimeparse
python-mimeparse is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-mimeparse package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-mimeparse *
You will get with python-mimeparse package name, version, architecture and description in a table
